Lodge Service

Part of the statement of purpose of the order of the Arrow is "Crystallize the Scout habit of helpfulness into a life purpose of leadership in cheerful service to others". In addition to our Council financial contributions, we make a substantial contibution of service hours through performing service work an all of our Council properties. 

This service can take the form of cleaning up the landscaping at the Council service center, cleaning up our various camp properties or helping the camps set up or take down before or after the summer camp season.  

We are introducing the Tri-Camp Service Award to add additional motivation to our members to do annual service at all three of our Council camp properties.  The Tri-Camp Service Patch has been created to complement the Tri-Camp Patch.  Like the Tri-Camp Patch, which is earned by camping at each of the three Council camps within a 12 month perion, the Tri-Camp Service Patch requires that a member perform organized OA service at each of the three Council camps during a 12 month period.  The organized OA service must be approved in advance by your chapter adviser or the lodge adviser.
