2023 National Jamboree

2023 National Jamboree July 19-28

National Scout Jamborees are one of Scouting’s defining events.  Jamborees are the opportunity for more than 20,000 Scouts, Venturers, and Scouters to come together every four years in a high adventure, high energy, much-anticipated event.

Below is a shortlist of the Jamboree activities that await you:

  • 5 miles of zip lines and challenge courses
  • 36 miles of mountain biking trails and BMX tracks
  • 13 acres of shooting sports ranges (shotgun, rifle, and archery)
  • Whitewater rafting, kayaking, and paddleboarding
  • Climbing walls and repelling
  • Skateboarding
  • STEM activities and merit badge opportunities
  • Patch trading and making friends with Scouts and Venturers from across the country and around the world
  • Group and individual leadership training
  • Wi-Fi-enabled outdoor experience (Wi-Fi covers the Summit camping and activity areas)
  • World-class entertainment at sub-camp shows
  • High energy festive atmosphere

SCOUT PARTICIPANT QUALIFICATIONS

  • MUST have a current BSA membership with a Scouts BSA troop.
  • MUST be at least a First Class Scout by the first day of the Jamboree (July 19, 2023).
  • MUST be at least 12 years of age by the first day of the Jamboree (July 19, 2023) and has not reached their 20th birthday by the last day of the Jamboree (July 28, 2023).  EXPANDED AGE CRITERIA FOR SCOUTS
  • Be approved by the unit leader and local council.
  • MUST have appropriate parent/guardian to complete the online parental consent.
  • Participate in pre-Jamboree training experience with local council and unit leader.
  • Filed a BSA Health & Medical Record parts A, B, and C with their council within one year of attending the Jamboree. 

VENTURER PARTICIPANT QUALIFICATIONS

  • Crew members MUST have a current BSA membership with a Venturing crew.
  • Has not reached their 21st birthday by the last day of the Jamboree (July 28, 2023).
  • Be approved by the unit leader and local council.
  • MUST have appropriate parent/guardian to complete the online parental consent.
  • Participate in pre-Jamboree training experience with local council and unit leader.
  • Filed a BSA Health & Medical Record parts A, B, and C with their council within one year of attending the Jamboree. 

JAMBOREE FEES

The Jamboree participant fee is $2,300. The participant fee includes:

  • National Jamboree fee
  • Three training weekend campouts
  • Transportation to and from the Jamboree
  • Participants are responsible for their uniforms (two complete field/class A uniforms), personal gear (e.g., mess kit and sleeping bag), spending money, and trading patches
  • All Troop/Crew gear such as cots, stoves, troop pots/pans, tables, etc. will be provided by the Summit. Subject to change.

* For Any participants that sign up after October 31st the registration fee will increase to $ 2500.00 per person
