Wilderness and Remote First Aid (16 Hours)
CPR/AED Current Certification Proof Required
Wilderness First Aid (WFA) is the assessment of and treatment given to an ill or injured person in a remote environment where definitive care by a physician and/or rapid transport is not readily available. Participants will learn how to assess, treat, and (when possible) contain emergencies within the scope of their training. Youth and adult Scout leaders over age 14 are invited to participate and earn their certification

How much does it cost?
American Red Cross Adult CPR & AED Training - The cost for this event is $35.00 per Youth, Adult, and Adult Staff.
Wilderness & Remote First Aid Training - The cost for this event is $65.00 per Youth, Adult, and Adult Staff.
Can we camp out?
Yes! Camping reservations for this event are open. Units and individuals can make camping reservations at anytime through our council website once logged in. You are able to see campsite and cabin availability after logging in.
