The May 24th training at the LaSalle Council Scout Office has been postponed due to a temporary pause on Range And Target Activities. 

Attendees who have registered for this course will be notified and a re-scheduled date will be offered as soon as possible. 

Cub Scout Range Master Training teaches how to run a BB gun, archery, or slingshot range for Cub Scout events. The training includes safety, equipment, range layout, and shooting skills. 

Training will begin at 9:00AM EDT and run until approximately 4:00PM

What's required to run a range:

  • To run a range at a District or Council run Cub Scout event, you must have the training and certification.
  • You must renew the training every two years.

Where can I take the training:

  • We are offering this course three times in 2025!
    • March 29, 2025 at Camp Topenebee
    • April 19, 2025 at Camp Tamarack
