Cook Nuclear Power Plant Post 235 Monthly Meeting

Come Join Us for Exploring Post #235's January Meeting at Cook Nuclear Plant in Bridgman, MI. We are looking very forward to growing our Post! A few pieces of information:

• Anyone ages 14-20 can join the Post. Registration is $60 per year if they want to join the Post, but they are welcome to join for an evening and see if it is for them!
• This months career topic will likely be either:
  • Plant Operations (getting to use the control room simulator - cook has a 1 to 1 recreation of their nuclear reactor control room in the Training Center!)
  • Chemistry (how to test water samples from the cooling route near the reactor, to the other separate intake route that goes in and out of Lake Michigan in order to keep the local fish and residents safe!)
• Post meetings are held at the Training Center (map attached). Access to the training center is from Red Arrow Hwy.
• Post meetings run from 7:00-9:00 PM
