How to Become a STEM Nova Counselor
1 - Create an account with My.Scouting.Org
Take Youth Protection Training - All Adults that work with Scout directly are required to take Youth Protection Training.

2 - STEM Nova Counselor Training
These courses are intended to provide training for STEM Nova counselors.
The Nova counselor code is 58.
Online training is now available at my.scouting.org (click on “BSA Learn Center” then click on “STEM In Scouting”).
3 - STEM Supernova Mentor Training
This course is a self-study training course for STEM Supernova mentors
Supernova mentors must be 21 or older and be subject matter experts in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) field and be registered under the new Supernova Mentor position code 52.

4 - Fill out an Adult Application Adult Application Form (download below)
