Pioneer Trails Klondike 2018

The 2018 Pioneer Trails Klondike will be held at River Preserve County Park, Benton Spillway (http://www.elkhartcountyparks.org/), 68552 County Road 31, Goshen, Indiana 46526 (2 miles south of U.S. 33 on County Road 31), January 19-21. Camping Friday and/or Saturday nights is optional (please indicate by selecting the appropriate class on your registration).
For those units arriving Friday, a pot of chili will be available for supper. If you want more than chili, your troop is responsible to bring it.
Your Troop is responsible for all other meals except Saturday lunch which is furnished as part of the Klondike Derby program. Lunch ingredients provided to cook your meal.
For the weekend, please bring water, additional snacks, and firewood!
$15.00 per person, Register on-line only, by January 15th
NO WALK-INS at the event.
Friday: Check in at Camp Headquarters after 3:00pm-? Campsites assigned. Chili for troops provided. Bring additional food if you choose. Bring water for the weekend.
Park at Benton Elementary School, unload at the park only.
8:00 – 8:45 am: Check-in at Headquarters for those Troops coming in only for the day
9:00 am: Opening Flags at Headquarters
9:15 am: Klondike courses – Shotgun Start
*45 minutes per station –15 minutes travel time. Patrols will mush to the stations
12:00 – 1:00 pm: Lunch
4:00 pm: Klondike course completed. Campers go back to camp, day participants pack up to leave.

Sunday: Break Camp out by noon.
