E-Prep (Emergency Preparedness) Event

E-Prep will be a day of Scouting fun, practice & skill-building for emergency preparedness with a mixture of competitive spirit and outdoor fellowship.

Come test your emergency preparedness skills at the Algonquian E-Prep event!
Compete against patrols across the district in six events to see who will bring home the travelling trophy!
This year's event them is City Survival! How well can you help citizens in need?
They may use all or some of these skills in addition to many skills that are not listed.

7:00 am – 8:30 am Check-in and registration, Assign Leaders to Stations
8:30 am – 8:45 am Brief Volunteer Station Leaders, Announcements
8:45 am – 8:55 am Opening Flags, Announcements
8:55 am – 9:00 am Travel to starting stations.
9:00 am – 9:55 am SHOTGUN START – Station #1
10:00 am – 10:55 am Station #2
11:00 am – 11:55 am Station #3
12:00 pm – 1:25 pm Lunch (bring lunch or find lunch on own)
1:30 pm – 2:25 pm Station #4
2:30 pm – 3:25 pm Station #5
3:30 pm – 4:25 pm Station #6
4:30 pm – 5:00 pm Short break (tally up stations and scores)
5:00 pm – 4:15 pm AWARDS
5:15 pm Homeward bound DRIVE SAFELY, SEE YOU NEXT YEAR
