CAMP RULES FOR TOPENEBEE

 

  1. SPEED LIMIT IS 10 mph – Camp property begins at Holmesville Road entrance!!
  2. NO DRIVING IN CAMPSITES OR ON GRASS AT ANYTIME FOR ANY RESON( except in parking lots.)
  3. PARK VEHICLES IN DESIGNATED PARKING AREAS. NO PARKING ALONG ROADS
  4. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGES TO CAMP AND LASALLE COUNCIL, BSA, PROPERTY
  5. All buildings, except for the one(s) you have rented, are off limits. DO NOT get on the roof of any building. DO NOT mark or put nails or screws into buildings or trees.
  6. DO NOT cut any standing trees without permission from the ranger.
  7. IMPORTANT There are a number of endangered species of plants and animals on the property. They are protected!
  8. Please stay on camp ground property.
  9. Build fires in designated fire rings, never leave fires unattended. YOU MUST post fire watch. Please replace any wood that you use. See ranger or camp master for location. PLEASE no burning of pine in cabin heaters.

10.       Fish in fishing area only – You must have an adult with and Indiana Fishing License and wear a PFD at all times.

11.       Ice Fishing is done at own risk – check with ranger/campmaster first

12.       NO ONE is to be in the warehouse without the RANGER or without his permission.

13.       No tools are to be taken without the Ranger’s knowledge.

14         NO SHOES OR BOOTS ON BUNKS

15         ROAD BEHIND TRAINING CENTER MUST BE KEPT OPEN AT ALL TIMES  IT IS FOR HANDYCAP USE

16 SEE RANGER BEFORE TAKING ANY FIRE WOOD FROM STACK BY WAREHOUSE.

 

 

BEFORE LEAVING

 

  1. Pour water on camp fires to make sure they are out.
  2. Cabins – make sure wood stoves are shut down and left to burn out. Ranger will clean when coals are cool.
  3. Please clean and mop floors: put bunks back in order
  4. Pick up trash in and around area – place in dumpster and close lid on your way out
  5. Stack all unused fire wood back on wood stack in campsite
  6. YOU MAY LEAVE SOME FIRE WOOD IN WOOD BOX FOR THE NEXT TROOP
  7. Lean all tables so water runs off
  8. YOU MUST CHECK OUT WITH RANGER OR CAMP MASTER BEFORE LEAVING CAMP!!!
