10:45 am arrive at camp and check in with walker

7:30 Closing campfire and skits

Family Overnight camp for those wishing to stay and continue the fun!

 

All cubs and pixie campers need to be signed in and out with their leader each day.

Cubs should bring to camp:

Ø  A non-refrigerated sack lunch-water will be available at each station. Other drinks can be purchased at the Trading Post.

Ø  Comfortable closed toe shoes-no sandals or flip-flops

Ø  Rain gear

Ø  Any medication needed while at camp needs to be turned into the health officer on the first day in the original container with instructions.

Ø  Sunscreen

Ø  Pump, lotion or towel insect repellant. Please no aerosols

Ø  Hat or visor for sun protection

Ø  Small backpack

Ø  Spending money for Trading Post

 

Walk along leaders should bring:

Some important understandings

Rules are made for the safety of campers, protection of equipment/property and to provide fairness to all.

·         Absolutely no fireworks of any kind are permitted in camp.

·         All cars will be parked in the camp parking lot.

·         No alcoholic beverages are permitted at camp.

·         Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.

·         No fires or open flames are allowed in tents.

·         Shoes must be worn in camp at all times

·         Everyone leaving camp must sign out with the Camp Director.

·         A den must have an adult leader at all times during the entire stay.

·         Medication for Cubs must be brought to the attention of the health officer at the time of check-in.

·         Do not bring knives or other weapons to camp.

·         BSA approved shooting sport equipment is provided at camp do not bring any equipment from home.

·         Siblings of scouts may not walk/be carried with the den-Pixie camp is provided.

 

 

Transportation

Many packs carpool, however it is the responsibility of each parent to provide transportation to and from camp.

If someone else is picking up your child make sure it is noted on the registration form. Cubs will only be released to designated persons.

First Aid and medical services

Every day camp has a qualified first aider to handle minor scrapes and bruises. If the injury is serious the camper or leader is taken to the emergency room at the local hospital. An adult from your pack should go with the person going to the hospital.

Emergency Messages and procedures

Each camp will have specific procedures-bad weather, fire, etc., that will be explained at staff and walk-along leader orientation. All leaders must stay with their Scouts and follow directions from the program staff. Anyone leaving camp must notify the camp director.
