So you were elected for membership in the Order of the Arrow. Now what?

You have already received an invitation in the mail for the Summer & Fall Ordeal Induction Weekends. Attending the Ordeal Induction Weekend is the next step in the process of becoming a member of Sakima Lodge #573. Return the registration form no later than the date on the form. The medical authorization on the registration form must be signed by a parent or guardian in order to participate.

Pack as you would for any campout. Bring a sleeping bag, ground cloth, Class A Uniform, Get dirty - work clothes and gloves, stuff to clean up with, flashlight, canteen (optional), rain gear and a tent. You do NOT need to bring any thing to eat with. Sakima Lodge will provide plates, utensils, food, etc. Please do not bring any electronic devices. There won't be time to use them any way.

The cost for your induction weekend is $40. This includes all meals, O/A sash, O/A Handbook, flap patch, event patch, supplies, camping fees, 1 year membership dues and administrative costs. Please send your fee in with the invitation letter that was mailed to you.

There will be many activities to participate in at your Induction Weekend. The main activities during the day on Saturday are service projects for the camp. Saturday evening is filled with fun activities including ice cream eating contests, magic tournaments (bring your own deck), Frog Wars III, movies, food, games and a dunk tank.
