Welcome to the
Commissioner Staff!
When the average person
thinks of adults in Scouting, the typical image is that of an adult
working with kids. The role of the unit commissioner is not as
highly visible as that - but it's an essential and highly
influential role, critical to the success of Scouting in the local
community.
This online Unit
Commissioner FastStart training is based on the BSA
video, Unit Commissioner's Orientation; Helping Units Succeed
(AV-04V001R) and is designed to help new unit commissioners get a
quick start in their new roles. You can find out where to borrow a
copy of the video from your district's commissioner
staff.
