What can I do at Camp?

You can take a hike, ride bike, catch a fish,

Or shoot a bow and arrow;

Watch birds and bees and butterflies,

See fishes, frogs, and snakes,

Shoot targets with a BB gun and have a lot of fun.

Play games with one another.

Do a lot of different crafts, use a saw, cut a shape,

Drill a hole, paint a board, or pound a nail.

Learn the names of trees and seeds and nuts;

Learn what’s good for you to eat,

And also learn what’s not,

See bushes, plants, and flowers, and poison ivy too,

Tie a knot and learn some super Scoutcraft skills.

Pitch a tent, cook a meal, make dessert, and eat it too.

Earn a patch; earn Tiger, Wolf, Bear, or Webelos ranks,

Make a friend, weave a basket, and watch the setting sun,

Eat some ice cream, sing a song, or do a skit,

As dancing campfire flames, light the darkening night,

See a thousand twinkling stars, fill the evening sky,

Watch the rising, silver moon, hear crickets serenade.

Go to sleep in peaceful bliss, and know that God is nigh.
