All Adults, All Programs
Wood Badge for the 21st Century is now more than ever for every adult Scouter, regardless of position or tenure. The skills learned at Wood Badge can benefit you in your Pack, Troop or Venture Crew - and more importantly - it benefits the youth by providing advanced training for our adult leaders.


 

   Minimum Eligibility
The candidate should be a registered adult leader of the BSA, belonging to any one of its programs:  Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, Varsity Scouting, Venturing, or a Professional Scouter. Please see the table below for specific requirement for your position in Scouting.

Program Area Should Have Completed the following

  1. New Leader Essentials
  2. Leader Specific Training
  3. Any one of the following outdoor training is recommended though NOT REQURED:
  • Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (The one offered for Scoutmasters).
  • Introduction to Outdoor Webelos Leadrship Skills.
  • BALOO (Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation).
