May 25 - Money Due for Product
By June 1 - Scout Bucks will be mailed to units paying on time 

We’ve planned an exciting sale for this year, with plenty of opportunities in store for everyone, and a chance to earn $ for camp.  The sale will feature: Interstate Batteries - a take order battery sales program that’s Practical (who doesn’t need batteries?), Powerful (no minimums & shipped directly to units), and Preferred (now a BSA preferred vendor).  The alkaline battery market is $4 billion and growing.  The average household uses 25 different battery-operated devices.

Scouts: Fill-up a take order form (all 20 lines) and you’ll be entered into a drawing for each form completed to win either an Apple I-Pad or 2 tickets to the August 19, 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series 400 race at Michigan Motor Speedway (Interstate Batteries Hospitality passes are included.)  Just e-mail completed order forms to Gloria or fax to 574-289-0336 by 4/27 to be entered into the drawing (remember that the order still needs to be placed through the unit tally/order form).

Your Unit will again earn 30% of the gross sale.  The prize program this year will be LaSalle Council Scout Bucks (an additional 5% recognition for youth selling that can be spent at Cub Day Camp, Webelos or Cub Resident Camp, Boy Scout Summer Camp Trading Posts, or the Council Scout Shop).  See www.lasallecouncilbsa.org for details and more info on the product.  We will have a Sale Info Packet at the March Roundtable Kickoffs.
