Popcorn Sale SummaryTo all of those who did so well on the Popcorn sale, especially to the 114 Scouts who sold over $1,000 worth of popcorn, congratulations! The total gross sale for the 200 units selling was over $805,000 (a 6% increase over last year). That gives $242,000 in commission for units to spend on program, plus an additional $58,000 in prizes and bonuses to Scouts and Units. Some units qualified for a 5% bonus by having a 25% increase in sales over last year, attending the kickoff, and settling on time. That figure doesn’t include the gift certificates from Trails End for $1,000 sellers or the college scholarship program for $2,000 sellers where Trails End puts 6% of the Scout’s gross sale in a trust fund for the Scouts post-secondary education, and they continue to do it each year the Scout sells popcorn after qualifying for the program. THANK YOU to everyone who made this sale our best ever!
