Two Ways to Earn Money for Camp!!
Will your son need money for his 2005 summer camping adventures?  Could your unit use $1,000 for its treasury right now?  Well, if you answered yes to either of these questions, then you should consider participating in the LaSalle Council’s Spring Fundraiser.  We have a great sale planned featuring 8 Trail’s End Popcorn products and 6 new Hershey’s products as the focus of our Spring Sale.

Hershey's
!

We will feature a $7 Reese’s Pieces Sugar Shaker, a $10 Jolly Rancher Candy Pail, a $15 Hershey’s Kisses Nostalgic Tin, a $15 Hershey’s Cocoa Mix Cup and Saucer, a $20 Hershey’s Nuggets Premium Tin, and a $35 Hershey’s Soda Shop Trio (featuring a Twizzlers Straw Dispenser, Jolly Rancher Glass Candy Jar, and Reese’s Pieces Sherbet Dish) - designed exclusively for this sale

Trail's End!

We will feature a $30 - 3 Way Tin (Caramel and Cheese - No Chocolate), a $30 - 30 Pack Microwave, a $25 - Cheese Lover's Tin, a $20 - 18 Pack Kettle Corn, a $15 - 28oz Caramel Corn with Almonds and Pecans, a $15 - 18 Pack Unbelievable Butter, a $15 - 18 Pack Butter Light, and an $8 - 12oz Caramel Corn with Peanuts.

The boys will use 2 Take Order forms (one Trail’s End and one Hershey’s) and the ordering, distribution and everything else will be done together.  Units will net 30% from the sale (often units give the boy credit for this $ for camp) plus a Scout Bucks prize program. We will have a limited supply of some Trail’s End product available for Show & Sell on a first come, first served basis.

45 minutes before March Roundtable, we will provide a Kickoff Meal for unit Sale Chairmen.

At the conclusion of the sale on April 13, the youth turn in their completed order forms to your Unit Sale Coordinator.

By April 15, your Unit Sale Coordinator places an order for your unit with the Council along with your “SCOUT BUCK” prize order and Unit Tracking Sheet by faxing in 3 forms (call 574-289-0337 or e-mail scummins@lasallecouncilbsa.org to confirm that your fax is received).

Your unit picks up its product order at its designated drop site on April 29.

Your Unit Treasurer deposits the sale proceeds into the Unit’s checking account and sends the council a check by May 13, 2005 (for 70% of gross sale).  Your unit will earn 30% of gross proceeds of your sale as commission.

“Scout Bucks” will be shipped directly to your unit sale chairperson by June 3rd.  There’s a special additional “Scout Bucks” incentive bonus for qualifying units.

Please complete the Unit Commitment card (on the Spring Sale Information/Signup Flyer) and return it to the Council Service Center.

It’s simple, it’s that easy, and your unit can earn the money you need for a great Scouting summer experience in 2005.  Thanks for your support of Scouting; we look forward to your participation in the 2005 SPRING SALE.
